A VIEW WORTH CELEBRATING

Housed in a gorgeously restored historic building on Cherry Street in Tulsa, OK, The Bellview features turn-of-the-century brick, modern amenities and a beautiful skyline view. The Bellview employs expert staff to fully support your big event and provide a level of hospitality rarely seen. We call it “handcrafted hospitality” and once you experience it, you’ll understand what a gift it is to be a guest at The Bellview.

A HISTORY WORTH CELEBRATING

The Bellview is located on the top floor of what was originally called “Bellview School” when the building was constructed in 1909. The name was changed to Lincoln School in 1914. The original three-story building was built outside the city limits and had no running water or restroom facilities. Perimeter buildings were added between 1916 and 1922. After a lightning strike in 1967, the bell tower was taken down. The school closed in 1990, and the buildings were converted into retail/office space in 1993. The top floor has been a hair salon and an ad agency prior to the conversion to The Bellview event space. The first floor went through several stints as a drinking establishment, including Cherry Street Brewery, The Slow Duck and the Gray Snail before opening as Nola’s Creole and Cocktails in 2017.

Notable graduates of Lincoln Elementary School include Tony Randall (known to his classmates as A. Leonard Rosenberg), Bill "Hopalong Cassidy" Boyd, and Moscelyne Larkin, co-founder of Tulsa Ballet Theater.
